1 cent 2009. Career of the Lawyer.

On the day of the 200th anniversary of the birth of 16th US President Abraham Lincoln, he introduced a new one-cent coin of a new series dedicated to various stages of Lincoln's life - from birth to the presidency. The coin symbolizes work in Illinois. Young lawyer Lincoln makes a speech against the background of the Capitol building in Springfield. The design was prepared by engraver Joel Iskovich and sculptor Don Everhart.

Obverse: the portrait of Abraham Lincoln is depicted. The inscription above the portrait is "In God We Trust" (the motto of the USA), on the left there is the inscription: "Liberty", on the right Year of coinage

Reverse: depicts a young lawyer Lincoln speaking a speech against the backdrop of the Capitol building in Springfield.
