December 18 (31), 1917 The Soviet government - the Council of People's Commissars created in October - headed by Vladimir Lenin recognized Finland's independence. Officially, the ratification took place on January 4, 1918.

Obverse: corresponds to the decoration of the front side of euro-zone coins with a face value of 2 euros: the map of Europe is located on the right side. The background of the map shows six vertical lines. At the ends of these lines there are 12 stars. To the left of the card there is a numeric denomination. On the map itself is a horizontal inscription "EURO".
