Obverse: In the center of the coin is a portrait of President George Washington to the left (shown in the restored version of the original portrait, used since 1932 on coin-kvarterah). Above the semicircular name of the issuing country: UNITED STATES OF AMERICA, in the semicircle the value of the coin is written - QUARTER DOLLAR. To the left of the portrait is minted the word LIBERTY (FREEDOM), on the right in a few lines - IN GOD WE TRUST (WE BELIEVE IN GOD) and the letter of the mint.

Reverse: in the central part of the coin field, against the background of the sky is represented in flight by a wild turkey, under it is depicted grass, and to the left - century-old pines. Near the edge of the coin a semicircular inscription:
In the upper part - "KISATCHIE" (Kisachi);
In the bottom - on the left "LOUISIANA" (Louisiana) and on the right "E PLURIBUS UNUM" (the motto of the USA - from many - uniform).
Also in the lower part is the year of coinage in the form of a horizontal inscription "2015".

The Kisachi National Forest is a vast area of ​​the natural landscape in the state of Louisiana, headquartered in Pineville. The natural zone of Kisachi covers an area of ​​2,440 km2 and is conditionally divided into seven parishes (administrative units).

The status of the national forest in the United States has 155 different federal territories with picturesque natural landscapes, primarily forests. This system of protection of natural resources was legalized in 1891 by the Land Audit Act.

The humid subtropical climate of Louisiana contributes to the rich diversity of fauna and flora. The unique nature of the Pelican State attracts millions of tourists every year, and one of the most interesting places is the forest of Kisachi. It is famous for the huge areas of coniferous plants, in particular, the extensive forest of long-pine. There are also areas of prairie prairies, many lakes and rivers, near the coast of which you can find the rarest specimens of predator plants or wild orchids.

The nature of Kisachi is favorable for the dwelling of animals. Here there is a black Louisian bear, a cocked woodpecker, a pine snake and other rare representatives of the animal world. Totally, 48 species of mammals, 30 amphibians, 56 reptiles, and 155 species of birds were found on the territory. To observe the fauna there is a butterfly garden and a bird sanctuary.

In the delightful realm of nature there is an abundance of recreation areas: it is more than 100 km of hiking trails, horse, bike routes, tracks for off-road cars. A lot of tempting places for hunters and fishermen. Pleasure and relaxation are guaranteed by campgrounds and camping sites, clean sandy beaches, picnics and a variety of hikes, boating and canoeing on picturesque rivers with banks in thickets of deciduous trees.
