25 cents (quater) 2014 from the National Parks series - 25th Everglades National Park, Florida.

Obverse: In the center of the coin is a portrait of President George Washington to the left (shown in the restored version of the original portrait, used since 1932 on coin-kvarterah). Above the semicircular name of the issuing country: UNITED STATES OF AMERICA, in the semicircle the value of the coin is written - QUARTER DOLLAR. To the left of the portrait is minted the word LIBERTY (FREEDOM), on the right in a few lines - IN GOD WE TRUST (WE BELIEVE IN GOD) and the letter of the mint.

Reverse: in the central part of the coin field, against the backdrop of the swampy terrain of the Everglades National Park, images of birds are presented: on the right side there is an American snake standing with outstretched wings, in the left - an American pink spoonbill. Near the edge of the coin a semicircular inscription: at the top - "EVERGLADES" (Everglades);

In the bottom - on the left "FLORIDA" (Florida) and on the right "E PLURIBUS UNUM" (the motto of the USA - from many - uniform).

Also in the lower part is the year of coinage in the form of a horizontal inscription "2014".

The Everglades National Park is a vast area of ​​untouched nature. It is located in the subtropical region of Florida - in the south of Everglades marshland. The park area of ​​6,105 km² is devoid of human activity and declared a UNESCO protected biosphere reserve, 86% of the area is recognized as a wildlife territory.

Numerous swamps, prairies and jungles of the reserve provide a comfortable existence for diverse specimens of flora and fauna. Over 2,000 species of plants are recorded here, including mangrove, mahogany, cypress, ficus, tropical palm, 25 species of orchids.

In the park there are more than 30 species of endangered rare animals. Only in the Everglades there are together the American crocodiles and alligators. In the reserve, panthers, deer, pumas, river otters, pelicans, sandpipers, storks, pink spoonbills, ibises, flamingos feel at ease.

To help researchers and travelers have developed special routes: walking, car, bicycle, sightseeing. A motor train is offered along the ring 11 km, travel on water arteries. There are canoe rental points, numerous scaffolding on water reservoirs and observation platforms, which makes possible observations from a close distance behind the world of animals.

Tourists enthusiastically take pictures of rare fauna, admire alligators, lying in the sun, watching the sea cows, manatees, crocodiles. Everglades guarantees endless adventures for seekers of sharp impressions and sensations.
