China 5 Yuan 2019 Taishan Mountain

5 yuan 2019 Sacred Taishan Mountain (UNESCO World Heritage Site).

The Bank of China issued a coin dedicated to the sacred mountain Taishan. Unlike past standard round commemorative coins, the shape of Taishan coins is a rounded rectangle. This is the first commemorative coin of a special form since the founding of New China.

Obverse: depicting "Mount Tai" and the year of issue of the coin "2019" and the emblem of the People's Republic of China.

Reverse: depicts Taishan in Taiwan, Shandong Province in China. Taishan, also known as Mount Tai, has been a UNESCO World Heritage Site since 1987.
