Estonia 2 euros 2020. 100 years of the Tartu Peace Treaty between the RSFSR and Estonia.
The Tartu (Yuryevsky) peace treaty between the RSFSR and Estonia, the treaty was concluded on February 2, 1920 in the Estonian city of Tartu (in the Russian text of the treaty - Yuryev). The signing of the agreement took place at the end of the hostilities of the Estonian War of Independence (from November 1918 to December 1919), in which the armed forces of the Republic of Estonia, with the assistance of the Northwest Army, the British Navy, Finnish, Swedish and Danish volunteers, confronted the north- western territory of the former Russian Empire to the armed forces of Soviet Russia.
Reverse: The map of Europe is located on the right side. The background of the map shows six vertical lines. There are 12 stars at the ends of these lines. To the left of the card is a numerical denomination. On the map itself is a horizontal inscription “EURO”.
Obverse: depicted in the outer circle is the traditional 12 EU stars, in the inner circle there is a symbolic tree leaves and branches are marked with the capital letters TARTU RAHU (“Tartu World”), the issuer’s country “EESTI” at the bottom left, “02.02.2020” at the bottom right.
