Moorea, Mo'orea, is one of the Windward Islands of the Society Islands Islands in French Polynesia in the Pacific Ocean, located 17 km north-west of Tahiti.

Obverse: in the center of the coin there is a floating turtle, above it the inscription "CARETTA CARETTA", at the bottom denomination "1 dollar".

Reverse: in the center of the coin the coat of arms of French Polynesia is depicted and below it the name of the island is in Latin "MOOREA" and the year "2017".
