Greece 2 euro 2016. 120 years since the birth of Dimitris Mitropoulos

Dimitris Mitropoulos (18 February (1 March) 1896, Athens - 2 November 1960, Milan) is a Greek-American conductor, pianist and composer.

Obverse: In the center in the background of notes is the profile of Dimitris Mitropoulos. In the left semicircle there is an inscription in Greek: "120 YEARS FROM THE BIRTHDAY OF DIMITRIS MITROPOLOS". On the outer ring are the twelve stars of the European Union.
