Hungary HUF 10 and 20 2020 Tribute to the Heroes of Emergency

Hungary 10 and 20 forints 2020, set of coins dedicated to the fight against coronavirus, "Tribute to the heroes of the emergency".

Magyar Nemzeti Bank issued a press release on July 14, which presented coins dedicated to the fight against coronavirus. HUF 10 and HUF 20 celebrate the dedicated work of doctors and all those who helped cope with the COVID-2019 pandemic.

Obverse: identical to the face value of ordinary circulating coins. Denomination designation in two lines: "10 FORINT", or "20 FORINT", below - letters of the country's mint - "BP".

Reverse: surrounded by a string of pearls along the edge, has an inscription in the upper part - “MAGYARORSZÁG” (Hungary). The lower inscription shows the year of minting - "2020" between two points. The main story, dedicated to unknown heroes of different professions who remained on the front lines during the emergency, is depicted in the center of the coin in the shape of a heart with the words “TISZTELET A HŐSÖKNEK” (Tribute to Heroes) in two lines.

The face value of the first coin is 10 forints, an alloy of copper (75%) and nickel (25%). Diameter - 24.8 mm. Weight - 6.1 g. Minting limit - 2,000,000 pieces.

The face value of the second coin is 20 forints, an alloy of copper (75%), nickel (4%) and zinc (21%). Diameter - 26.3 mm. Weight - 6.9 g. Minting limit - 2,000,000 pieces.
