In 2019, 100 years have passed since the adoption of Universal suffrage. Exactly 100 years ago, Luxembourg women received the right to vote on equal terms with men.

Obverse: a portrait of the Grand Duke Henri is depicted, and on the right is a hand with a ballot paper lowering it into the ballot box. Above the image is the inscription “Centenaire du suffrage universel” (“Centennial of universal suffrage”) and the years “1919” and “2019” are indicated. The name of the country “LUXEMBOURG” is engraved at the bottom of the coin. 12 stars of the European Union are placed around the circumference.
Reverse: The map of Europe is located on the right side. The background of the map shows six vertical lines. There are 12 stars at the ends of these lines. To the left of the card is a numerical denomination. On the map itself there is a horizontal inscription “EURO”
