"Love" is the first coin from the series "Children and Solidarity", which will be released between 2016 and 2020.

Obverse: In the center, two hands, to the wrist, form the heart, inside the stylized flag of Malta. On the wrists of the left and right hands is the logo of the charity The Malta Community Chest Fund, which cooperates with the Central Bank of Malta. Below the name of the issuing state and the year of issue: "MALTA 2016". On the outer ring are the twelve stars of the European Union

Reverse: In the center on the right is a map of Europe with a horizontal inscription "EURO". The map of Europe is depicted on top of six vertical lines symbolizing stability; at the ends of these lines there are stars (12 stars in all - one for each end of the line, symbolizing the 12 founding countries of the eurozone). The sign on the left side is the number symbol of the face value - 2. The sign of the designer Luc Luycx - the two crossing letters L (LL) resembling the figure 4 are located on the right in the center under the letter "O" of the word EURO).
