1st coin series of 7 coins with the image of Maltese prehistoric complexes: Ggantija.
Ggantija, Malta. Ġgantija, letters. "Tower of giants" - a megalithic temple complex of Neolithic the island off the coast of Gozo, Malta. It is the earliest of the megalithic temples of Malta. It consists of two giant temples erected in the Neolithic period (about 3600-2500 years. BC. E.). Megalithic Temples of Malta, which include Ggantija, and are a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
Obverse: The map of Europe is on the right side. Against the background of the card six vertical lines are shown. At the ends of these lines, there are 12 stars. To the left of the card has a numeric denomination. On the card is a horizontal inscription «EURO».
