The fourth coin 1 salt of 2018 from a series of Fauna of Peru - Mountain tapir (Vultur gryphus)

The Central Reserve Bank of Peru introduced the salt coin 1 salt Tapir Andino from the series "The Endangered Wildlife of Peru".

The coin is dedicated to Tapirus pinchaque or "Mountain tapir" Today, this type of tapir is found only in the Andes of Colombia, Ecuador and northern Peru.
In our days of these animals there are no more than 2,500 individuals.

Reverse: in the central part in the octagon, against the background of the mountains, there is a mountain tapir. The coin name "TAPIR ANDINO" was minted above it. On the left is a vertical inscription indicating the Latin name of the animal species - "Tapirus pinchaque". On the right is the mint sign. In the left part, there is a coin program logo - concentric circles with hummingbirds, next to the coin denomination - "1 SOL".

Obverse: in the center of the coin is the coat of arms of Peru, surrounded by the words "BANCO CENTRAL DE RESERVA DEL PERÚ" year of issue 2018.
