The fifth coin 1 salt of 2018 from the series Fauna Peru - White-winged Guan (Penelope albipennis)

The Central Reserve Bank of Peru introduced into circulation the coin 1 Sol White-winged Guan from the series “Endangered Wildlife of Peru”, the coin is the fifth in a row.

The coin is dedicated to the White Wing Penelope (Penelope albipennis) or the White Wing Guan inhabiting the northwestern part of Peru, where there are currently about 100 individuals.

Reverse: In the central part, in the octahedron against the background of the mountains, the White-winged Guan is depicted. Above it, the name of the coin is minted - “PAVA ALIBLANCA”. On the left is a vertical inscription indicating the Latin name of the animal species - “Penelope albipennis”. On the right is the sign of the mint. In the left part, the logo of the coin program is located - concentric circles with hummingbirds, next to the face value of the coin - “1 SOL”.

Obverse: in the center of the coin is the coat of arms of Peru, surrounded by the words “BANCO CENTRAL DE RESERVA DEL PERÚ” year of issue 2018.
