Finland. 5 euro 2017 year. The seventh president of Finland, Juho Kusti Paasikivi, who held the post from 1946 to 1956.
Juho Kusti Paasikivi (born Juhan Gustaf Hellsten January 27, 1870 - December 14, 1956) is a Finnish politician, 7th president of Finland, by education a lawyer. The doctor is both right: civil and ecclesiastical.
In 1897 he received the profession of a lawyer, six years later became director of the state treasury. In 1918 he became prime minister of Finland. In 1920 he directed the Finnish delegation at the Soviet-Finnish negotiations, where the Tarturian peace treaty was signed. In 1934 he became Swedish ambassador. In 1940, as minister without a portfolio, he signed a peace treaty that concluded the Winter War.
In 1944 he was appointed prime minister of Finland, and in the 46th he became president of Finland. I focused on the normalization of relations with the USSR.
The policy he conducted was called the "Paasikivi Line".
Obverse: a portrait of the sixth president of Finland is depicted. Above, along the edge of the coin, inscriptions are engraved: the name of the politician is "JUHO KUSTI PAASIKIVI" and the years of his life are "1870-1956".
Reverse: depicts the silhouette of an open book on which the urban and rural landscape is stylized. Along the edge of the coin are engraved inscriptions: on the left - "SUOMI", at the top - "FINLAND", on the right - "2017", at the bottom - "5 EURO". On the coin there is a letter "L" - a sign of designer Tero Lounas (Tero Lounas), and a trademark of the Mint of Finland.
