Above the portrait, Kant coin - the inscription: "WOODROW WILSON" (Woodrow Wilson), the bottom of the one-line inscription: "IN GOD WE TRUST" (In God We Trust) "28th PRESIDENT" (twenty-eighth president) and the period of his stay in the president's office, "1913-1921."

Woodrow Wilson became the head of the White House in 1913 and served two four-year terms. He was the 28th president of the USA, a historian with a doctorate, a politician whose peacemaking efforts marked the awarding of the Nobel Prize. Years of life 1856 - 1924.

Woodrow Wilson as president represented the Democratic Party, following the direction of the "New Deal", spent a lot of economic reforms. Being passionate motorists assisted active construction of public roads.

In foreign policy, the time troubled Wilson remained neutral and tried to keep the United States from participation in the First World War. He managed to do it from 1914 to 1917 and a second election campaign the incumbent president was held under the slogan "He shielded us from the war."

When in 1917, Germany intensified submarine attacks, America was forced to intervene in the fighting. Foreseeing the threat to all humanity, Woodrow Wilson developed the "14 points" for the preservation of peace and tried to create an organization which later appeared under the name "League of Nations". His endeavors have not found wide support, only 4 points out of 14 have been implemented. Wilson had to deal with the unrest in Latin America, to send an expedition to the revolutionary Russia to intercept shipments of weapons of its own, is still destined to the government.

In 1919, overtired during a campaign trip, Woodrow Wilson suffered a stroke with severe consequences. A few months later, he was in a wheelchair, but his disability artfully concealed from the general public. At the end of his second term in 1921, he and his wife settled in Washington, where three years later he died and was buried at the National Cathedral.
