1 Dollar Sacagawea (The Indian), the Treaty with the Delawares 2013

Coin "The agreement with the Delawares," devoted to the agreement of 17 September 1778 - the first officially documented agreement between the indigenous tribes of America and the United States. A tribute to the Delaware tribe was the image on the coin symbol tribe: turtle, turkey, and a howling wolf. The very same treaty allowed US citizens to move freely within the territory of the Delawares, and guaranteed orders and travelers every assistance from the tribe. In addition, the Delaware soldiers were involved in the battles at Stora US troops. Friendship with Delaware was a great trump card in the confrontation with the British fort at Detroit. In response, the United States provided Delaware clothing, dishes and weapons, as well as on the territory of the tribe built a fort to ensure the safety of women, children and old people of Delaware.
