San Marino 2 euro 2017 year. International Year of Tourism.

The United Nations General Assembly declared 2017 the International Year of Sustainable Tourism for Development, thus recalling the potential of tourism for the implementation of the Sustainable Development Agenda for the period to 2030 and the achievement of 17 sustainable development goals (LRC ).

The International Year aims to contribute to changes in policies, business practices and consumer behavior leading to increased sustainability of the tourism sector, which thus can more effectively contribute to the achievement of the LRC.

Obverse: On the inner disk in the center there is a stylized globe. Above the semicircle along the edge of the inner disk there is an inscription in Italian: "TURISMO SOSTENIBILE" ("SUSTAINABLE TOURISM"). At the bottom of the internal disk, the semicircular name of the issuing state and the year of issue of "SAN MARINO 2017" are indicated. The mint designation (the letter "R") is located to the left of the center; The engraving symbol (UP INC.) is located to the right of the center of the disk; the artist's designation (letter "A") is placed to the right of the globe. On the circle of the outer ring are 12 stars of the European Union.

Reverse: In the center on the right is a map of Europe with a horizontal inscription "EURO". The map of Europe is depicted on top of six vertical lines symbolizing stability; at the ends of these lines there are stars (12 stars in all - one for each end of the line, symbolizing the 12 founding countries of the eurozone). The sign on the left side is the number symbol of the face value - 2. The sign of the designer Luc Luycx - the two crossing letters L (LL) resembling the figure 4 are located on the right in the center under the letter "O" of the word EURO).
