200 years since the birth of the Slovak poet, philologist and public figure Ludovit Štúr.

He was the ideologist of the Slovak national revival in the 19th century, as well as the author of the Slovak language standard, which ultimately led to the modern Slovak literary language, the organizer of Slovak revolutionary campaigns during the Revolution of 1848-1849 in Hungary, a member of the Parliament of the Kingdom of Hungary, a politician, poet, journalist, publisher, teacher, philosopher and linguist.

Obverse: in the center of the inner ring there is an engraved portrait of Ludovit Štúr, to the left of the portrait there are inscriptions around the circumference: “1815-1865” and “LUDOVIT STUR”, to the right: the year of minting “2015” and the name of the issuing country “SLOVENSKO”. On the outer ring - 12 stars of the European Union.

Reverse: the map of Europe is located on the right side. There are six vertical lines on the background of the map. At the ends of these lines there are 12 stars. To the left of the card there is a numerical designation of the face value. On the card itself there is a horizontal inscription "EURO".
