This is the third coin of the series.
The obverse of the coin features images of the male and female skaters in motion.
Figure skating was first introduced in Finland American Jackson Haines in 1875. The first club, Helsinki Skridskoklubb (HSK), it was founded in the same year, and it still exists in Helsinki.
The Finnish Association of Skating (Finnish Figure Skating Association in 1968), was formed in 1908 when figure skaters and speed skaters were still together in one association.
