Olivierine (lat. Lertha extensa) is a species of retina-winged insects from the family of stubble birds (Nemopteridae).
The body length of adult insects is 12-15 mm. The front wings of the olivierina, unlike the Transcaucasian nitrate, are transparent (with rainbow tints), which can make the sitting insect completely invisible. Long ribbon-shaped back wings reach 38 mm in length and carry two extensions at the ends with dark brown spots.
Mysterious creature, about whose life almost nothing is known. This rare insect from the order of the retina-winged dwells in the semi-deserts of southern Transcaucasia. Only the very edge of its range, Olivierina enters the territory of our country, meeting in the Mediterranean countries. We know very little about her.
