Reed sutora (Paradoxornis heudei) is a species of the genus Paradoxornis of the Warbler family. The body length of the reed suture is 15–17 cm, the plumage of the body, tail and wings are reddish-chestnut-pink shades, the head is gray; the beak is yellow.
Areal - reed thickets of reservoirs from the east of Mongolia in the west to Lake Khanka and the Khanka lowland in the Primorsky Territory in the east. To the south, it can be found up to the Yangtze River. Mostly sedentary. Lives in small flocks from 5 to 30 individuals.

It feeds mainly on sawfly larvae, extracting them from reed stalks.

In clutch there are up to six whitish eggs, which incubate for 12–13 days. Chicks leave the nest at the age of 10–12 days.

Conservation status - NT (close to vulnerable position). The species is widespread in Manchuria, rare in Mongolia. It is listed in the Red Book of Russia. The main danger for birds is the draining of reservoirs, which entails the death of reeds. In addition, nests suffer from fires and strong winds.
