Ukraine. 5 hryvnia in 2017. 80 years of the Khmelnitsky region, from the "Region of Ukraine" series.

It is dedicated to the edge, located in the south-west of the East European Plain, in the zones of forest-steppe and mixed forests. A unique combination of ancient historical and architectural monuments, picturesque landscapes, mild healing climate is Khmelnitchin, which is famous for the fortresses of Kamenets-Podolsky, Medzhybozh, Starokonstantinov, canyons of the Dniester and Smotrych, caves of the Bakotsky rock monastery and the like. Over the territory of the region there are more than three thousand rivers and streams, the largest among them? the Dniester River, the Southern Bug, the Goryn, Sluch, Zbruch, Smotrich, here more than 300 deposits with 26 kinds of various minerals, more than sixty sections of underground fresh, mineral and table waters are taken into account. In the Khmelnitsky region there are many enterprises, whose products are valued in Ukraine and abroad, partnership relations are established with many countries.
