The coin is dedicated to speed skater Cindy Klassen, who won the gold medal at the Olympic Games in Turin in 2006.

Cindy Klassen (eng. Cindy Klassen; born August 12, 1979 in Winnipeg, Canada) - Canadian speed skater, 2006 Olympic champion at a distance of 1500 m, world champion (2003, 2005, 2006), multiple medalist of the Olympic Games and World Championships, multiple world record holder.
She won 6 medals at the Winter Olympics (1 gold, 2 silver and 3 bronze), which makes her the owner of the largest number of Olympic awards in the history of Canadian sports.

Cindy began her sports career in ice hockey. She was the goalkeeper of the Canadian youth team and planned to participate in the 1998 Olympics in Nagano. However, she could not get into the Olympic team and abandoned hockey, switching to speed skating, where she immediately began to show good results.

During her career, Cindy Klassen set world records 13 times, most of which were set in the 2005/2006 season.
