Ireland. 2 euros. 2023 50th Anniversary of Ireland's accession to the EU.

On January 1, 1973, Ireland joined the European Coal and Steel Community, which ceased to exist in 2002 due to the development of the European Communities and the European Union.

Obverse: In the center of the disc is the official emblem of the celebration of the 50th anniversary of Ireland's membership in the EU, consisting of intertwined stylized numbers 5 and 0. Five stars are visible on the last number. Above the emblem is engraved the name of the issuing country in Irish "EIRE". Along the edge of the inner disk are minted - at the top is the year of Ireland's entry into the European Coal and Steel Association "1973"; at the bottom, the year of minting "2023". On the outer ring are the twelve stars of the European Union.

Reverse: the map of Europe is located on the right side. There are six vertical lines on the background of the map. At the ends of these lines there are 12 stars. To the left of the card there is a numerical designation of the face value. On the card itself there is a horizontal inscription "EURO".
