Obverse: in the center is a portrait drawing of Albert II, Prince of Monaco. The year of issue of the coin is indicated below, to the right and left of it are the signs of the Parisian monetary court (horn of plenty, left) and the engraving workshop manager (Yves Sampo, pentagon, right). The country “MONACO” (“Monaco”) is indicated above the portrait. There are 12 stars around the outer ring.

Reverse: A map of Europe is depicted on the right side. On its background are six vertical lines. There are 12 stars at the ends of these lines.
To the left of the card there is a numerical designation of the denomination "2". On the card itself there is a horizontal inscription "EURO".
