Nepal. 1 rupee 2022 (2077)
Everest, aka Chomolungma, aka Sagarmatha, is the highest point on our planet. Its height is about 8850 above sea level. Everest is located on the border of Nepal and Tibet, as part of the Mahalangur-Himal range in the Himalayas. It is a symbol of all nearby states, and it is not surprising that it appears on the obverse of the coin.
Obverse: Mount Sagarmathi (this is the Nepalese name for Everest) is depicted in the center, behind it are the sacred symbols of Nepal: a lotus flower, a wheel, a crescent moon, a sun, a shell and a vajra rod. Under it is written its name "SAGARMATHA", the country "NEPAL". Below is the year of minting "२०७७" 2020, in the Nepali calendar it will be 2070.
Reverse: Updated map of Nepal, 1 dot for the visually impaired. At the top the inscription "Re. One"
