The coin was issued by the Mint of Finland, April 20, 2015. And is the seventh coin in the series.
The coin depicts a hedgehog on a background of urban houses. On the reverse of the coin shows the coat of arms of the province of Uusimaa.

Hedgehog is the animal symbol of the province of Uusimaa. Hedgehog lives in urban areas close to human habitation, and is a regular guest in many yards. As a rule, hedgehogs go at dusk and at night. In spite of the short legs, the hedgehog is a fast runner. Jerzy spread to Finland in the 19th century and are a protected species.
