Obverse: In the center, in the field of a straight cross, there is a stylized state symbol of the Federal Republic of Germany: a left-facing heraldic eagle with outstretched wings. Horizontal inscriptions in German: above the eagle, the year of issue "2013" and the name of the country in two lines "BUNDESREPUBLIK DEUTSCHLAND" (FEDERAL REPUBLIC OF GERMANY), under the eagle the inscription "10 EURO" (10 Euro), below the sign of the Berlin Mint - "A" . The sides of the cross are framed by three five-pointed stars, arranged in the form of the Latin letter "V", the base of which is directed towards the center.

Reverse: In the center is a straight cross, in the field of which a man and a woman are depicted against the background of buildings, holding a man in their arms, ambulance vehicles are depicted on both sides: a car on the left, a helicopter and a boat on the right. Above and below, horizontal inscriptions in German: "150 Jahre" (150 years) and the principles of the organization of the Red Cross "Unabhängigkeit, Menschlichkeit, Freiwilligkeit, Unparteilichkeit, Neutralität, Universalität, Einheit" (Independence, Humanity, Volunteering, Impartiality, Neutrality, Universality, Unity). At the bottom, near the edge, is the sign of the artist Bodo Broschat "BB".
