The Moscow Mint of Goznak (MMD) issued a coin with a face value of 25 rubles for 2023: “25 rubles 2023. Scarlet Flower.” Colored. In a blister.

“The Scarlet Flower” is a Soviet full-length animated film created by director Lev Atamanov based on the fairy tale of the same name by Sergei Aksakov about an enchanted young man who is turned into a monster, and about a girl who, by the power of love, returns him to his human form.
The tale was first published in 1858 as an appendix to the autobiography “The Childhood Years of Bagrov the Grandson.” The first animated film adaptation of the fairy tale was published almost a century later, only in 1952.

Obverse: in the center - a relief image of the State Emblem of the Russian Federation, above it along the edge - an inscription in a semicircle: "RUSSIAN FEDERATION", framed on both sides by double rhombuses, under the coat of arms in the center in three lines - the inscription: "BANK OF RUSSIA", coin denomination: “25 RUBLES”, year of issue: “2023”, on the right is the trademark of the mint.

Reverse: depicts a scene from the animated film The Scarlet Flower. At the top there is a relief inscription: “SCARLET FLOWER”.

The circulation of this coin is 150 thousand pieces.
