Poland 2 złoty 2013. Bison.

The European bison is a very large, massive animal. It belongs to the order Artiodactyls, family Bovids. The length of his body is up to 3 m, the tail is 0.8 m, the height at the withers is up to 2 m, the weight of bulls is up to 1 ton, cows are much lighter. The appearance of this strong giant makes an indelible impression, it smells of antiquity, the era of the past glaciation. The bison is a contemporary of the mammoth.

Obverse: the Coat of Arms of the country is depicted, at the top there is an inscription in a semicircle: RZECZPOSPOLITA POLSKA, at the bottom the year of issue is 2013, the denomination of the coin is 2 złoty and the sign of the Mint of Warsaw M/W.

Reverse: two bison are depicted in their natural habitat. The inscription "ZUBR - Bison bonasus" is engraved in the lower part in a semicircle.

Edge: repeating the word "NBP" 8 times
