Rybnitsa is a city in Transnistria on the left bank of the Dniester River, near the tributary of Ribnita, 110 km from Chisinau and 120 km from Tiraspol. Railroad station. The administrative center of the Rybnitsa district of the unrecognized Pridnestrovskaia Moldavskaia Respublika.

The first information about the settlement on the territory of the city belong to the first half of the XV century. One of the first references to Rybnitsa refers to 1628, when it was designated as a settlement on the map of the Grand Duchy of Lithuania and the Polish Kingdom.

The modern coat of arms of Rybnitsa was approved on October 30, 2003.

Obverse: in the center - an image of the State Emblem of the Pridnestrovskaia Moldavskaia Respublika; on a circle - inscriptions: at the top - "TRANSNISTRIAN REPUBLICAN BANK", at the bottom - "1 РУБЛЬ"; in the lower part under the coat of arms - "2017".

Reverse: in the center - the coat of arms of Rybnitsa, which depicts Archangel Michael in military armor, in his right hand he has a sword, in the left - a shield; beneath - the inscription "FISHER".
