Slobodzeya is a city in the Pridnestrovskaia Moldavskaia Respublika on the left bank of the Dniester River, 12 km southeast of Tiraspol. The first mention of Slobodzey refers to the XVII century.

Description of the coat of arms of Slobozey: The coat of arms of the city of Slobodzeya is crowned with a stylized crown made of wheat, which symbolizes the region rich in harvest. The Slobozia region, like the entire territory of Pridnestrovie, is proud of its winemaking art, so the coat of arms adorns the vine. In the center of the emblem are vegetables and fruits, which again symbolizes a rich agricultural region. The background for vegetables and fruits is blue, in other words the blue sky, as well as the symbol of the irrigation system of the district. After all, water is the source of life, both for people and plants. Slobodzeya adjoins the Dniester River - this is reflected in the symbolism of the city. The waves of the Dniester share the blue sky and green soil.
