The Moscow Mint of Goznak (MMD) issued a coin with a face value of 25 rubles 2022: "25 rubles 2022. Merry Carousel No. 1. Cartoon Antoshka".
Director Leonid Nosyrev made the cartoon "Antoshka" in 1969. The picture was published in the first issue of the children's film magazine "Merry Carousel", in each issue of which two or three cartoon short films were shown. The plot of "Antoshka" is based on a children's song about a lazy boy. Its text was written by the poet Yuri Entin. In his youth, he worked for some time at school as a history teacher, and his real student became the prototype of Antoshka.
The music for the song about Antoshka was composed by composer Vladimir Shainsky. The composition was first heard on the air of the Good Morning TV show, where Entin and Shainsky applied a few months later. It was performed by the children's choir "Sputnik".
Obverse: in the center - a relief image of the State Emblem of the Russian Federation, above it along the edge - the inscription in a semicircle: "RUSSIAN FEDERATION", framed on both sides by double rhombuses, under the coat of arms in the center in three lines - the inscription: "BANK OF RUSSIA", coin denomination: "25 RUBLES", year of issue: "2022", on the right - a trademark of the Mint.
Reverse: a scene from the cartoon magazine "Merry Carousel No. 1" is depicted: a boy named Antoshka lazily lies on his back on a hill under a sunflower hanging over him. A crow is resting on a large sunflower in the same position. At the top left there is a relief inscription: "FUNNY CAROUSEL No. 1".
The circulation of this coin is 850 thousand pieces.
