Norway 20 kroons 2014 200 years of the Constitution of 1814-2014.
The Constitution, which recognizes Norway as an independent state, was signed on May 17, 1814 in Eidsvoll. Despite the fact that the country gained full independence in 1905, it is May 17 that is considered the Day of Norway's Independence.
Obverse: Portrait of King Harald V to the right. Circular inscription: HARALD V · NORGES KONGE. Under the portrait is the year of production, framed by the logos of the National Bank of Norway.
Reverse: On the left, Christian Magnus Fulzen (1782 - 1830) is a Norwegian lawyer, statesman and politician, named "Father of the Norwegian Constitution." At the top right - contours of persons, symbolizing future generations, below - face value in two lines: 20 KR. In the lower part of the coin there is an inscription in two lines: GRUNNLOVEN 1814 - 2014.
