The coin is dedicated to horse tram - the first street rail transport construction projects which in the territory of modern Ukraine in the era of rapid technological progress emerged in the second half of the XIX century, first in Lviv, then in Kiev.

The obverse: in the center of the top of the small State Emblem of Ukraine, a semicircle is written the name of the issuing country - "Ukraine". At the bottom of an arc specified denomination - "P`YAT UAH", indicated by the year of issue - "2016". In the center is a stylized composition: Horseshoe, bordering one of the squares of Kiev. On the left side is a sign of the Mint of the National Bank of Ukraine.

Reverse: on the background of a stylized panorama of Lviv shows horse tram. At the top of the semicircular written - "KІNNY TRAM".
