The wolf was chosen as the national animal of Estonia on April 23, 2018 by a jury consisting of representatives of 20 environmental and cultural organizations of the country (Estonian Society for Nature Conservation, Estonian Society for Theriology, Estonian Academy of Sciences, Estonian Geographical Society, Tallinn Zoo, etc.). They tried to choose the national animal of Estonia before. This time the incentive was the 100th anniversary of the country's independence. The gray wolf won the competition beaver, badger, fox, hedgehog and roe deer.
Reverse: the map of Europe is located on the right side. There are six vertical lines on the background of the map. At the ends of these lines there are 12 stars. To the left of the card there is a numerical designation of the face value. On the card itself there is a horizontal inscription "EURO".
