Spain 2 euro 2023 Spanish Presidency of the Council of the EU.

Spain has issued a commemorative coin in honor of its Presidency of the Council of the EU.

Obverse: In the center of the disk there is a specially created logo of the Spanish Presidency of the Council of the EU. An inscription in Spanish is engraved around the logo: at the top - "ESPANA 2023 - PRESIDENCIA ESPANOLA" (SPAIN 2023 - PRESIDENCIA ESPANOLA), below - "CONSEJO DE LA UNION EUROPEA" (COUNCIL OF THE EUROPEAN UNION). The Fábrica Nacional de Moneda y Timbre mintmark is placed below the logo. On the outer ring are the twelve stars of the European Union.

Reverse: Extended map of EU countries, version of 2007 sample, 12 stars (according to the initial number of eurozone countries) and 6 parallel lines - a symbol of stability. As well as the face value of the coin - "2 EURO".
