Ukraine. 10 hryvnia in 2018. Defenders of the Donetsk airport of Cyborg.

On January 30, the National Bank of Ukraine issued a commemorative coin with a denomination of 10 UAH, to the defenders of the Donetsk airport, dedicated to the courage and heroism of the Ukrainian "cyborgs" who defended Donetsk airport for 242 days.

The coin opens the series "The Armed Forces of Ukraine", within which in 2018 commemorative coins "Ukrainian Volunteer Day" and "100th anniversary of the creation of the Ukrainian Navy" will be issued.

Obverse: on the upper left - the inscription UKRAINE (semicircle), under which the coin mintage year (2018) and the small State Emblem of Ukraine. In the center - a stylized composition: two men's hands with weapons of different eras, symbolizing the defenders of Ukraine of different times. On a mirror background there are inscriptions: FOR HONOR! FOR GLORY! FOR THE PEOPLE! And at the bottom left - the value of 10 hryvnia on the stylized fragment of the shield. On the right is the National Bank banknote and mint logo.

Reverse: depicts a stylized composition depicting the defender of the airport on the background of a dilapidated tower, over which the Ukrainian flag flutters. On the right - shot through armature with vertical inscriptions: cyborg.
