The Central Reserve Bank of Peru introduced into circulation the running coin 1 Salt Yellowtail monkey from the series “Endangered Wildlife of Peru”

Yellow-tailed monkey or yellow-tailed woolly monkey (lat. Oreonax flavicauda) is a species of ape from the family of arachnids (Atelidae).

Reverse: A monkey sitting on a tree is depicted on the tree, which with its tail and one paw clings to the branch of the tree. The value of 1 SOL is indicated on the coin. On the top is the inscription ‛MONO CHORO COLA AMARILLA‛, on the left ‛Oreonax flavicauda‛ (the name of the species in Latin). On the right are the vertical lines on which are applied by the National Mint.

Obverse: in the center of the coin is the coat of arms of Peru, surrounded by the words “BANCO CENTRAL DE RESERVA DEL PERÚ” year of issue 2019.
