In the upper part - "GREAT BASIN" (Large pool);
In the bottom - to the left "NEVADA" (Nevada) and to the right "E PLURIBUS UNUM" (the motto of the USA - from many - uniform).
Also in the lower part is the year of coinage in the form of a horizontal inscription "2013".

Great Basin is a US national park, located in the eastern part of Nevada, at the border with the state of Utah. The name he gave one of the North American regions - the Great Basin, and 1986 was the time of the birth of the park. Its landscape is a sample of a mountainous desert area where most of the rivers, not finding an outlet to the sea, gather in salt lakes. The space from the valleys to the highest peak of Wheeler is rich in alpine vegetation, ancient pine forests, calcareous caves, an amazing animal world.
Great Baysin occupies a huge area of more than 30000 hectares, where for visitors there are 12 different routes, mountain paths of varying complexity. Here, a person can dissolve in nature and observe animals such as badger, fox, chipmunk, striped skunk, ermine, lynx, marmot, mountain sheep, antelope and many others. In the park you can count more than 8 hundred varieties of plants, 11 of them are coniferous trees.
Great Beysin adorns the oldest tree on the planet "Prometheus" (a kind of pine). Unfortunately, part of it was allowed to cut down for scientific research, which resulted in the discovery of an incredible tree age - almost 5000 years. Attractive for visitors is the cave of Leman - karst grotto, sheltered at an altitude of more than 2 kilometers.
Annually, almost 90 thousand tourists find the opportunity to visit the nature preserve of the Great Basin, enjoying the grandiose views of mountain chains disappearing beyond the horizon.
